Matt's other business is fit20, a personal training studio at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge.
fit20 is an intensive training method performed for just 20 minutes, once per week under the guidance of a personal trainer. The weekly training is by appointment, and can be completed in your regular clothes. “Going to the gym and strength training has been a big part of my life. I joined my first gym at 16 and had regularly trained until 2016. At that time life became busy. My first son was born and I consciously quit the gym due to the time constraints of family life and working full time. There was also an element of ‘rose tinted glasses’ - for a while I thought that yoga was all I needed! However, approaching my late 30’s and a couple of years before my second son was born, I noticed I had started to lose strength.
I was a customer before I took over the studio at Fox Valley. Joining fit20 helped me get my strength back and more: my energy levels are much better, my posture has improved and I feel great after training! The weekly 20 minute appointment fits so well into my busy lifestyle. I was sceptical at first, but it really works! I saw how well it complimented my daily yoga practice and took over the business here in summer 2019.

MIND MATTERS - JANE McNEICE
Mind Matters was founded by Jane McNeice in 2015 following her work in mental health, both supporting businesses and health professionals, and helping people with mental health problems to gain and retain work. Jane is a post-graduate, working in the field for 10 years, having qualifications in Human Resources, Criminology, and Vocational Rehabilitation. Jane is a qualified training instructor with LivingWorks, MHFA England, and the Resilience Training Company. Jane delivers a wide range of courses for Mental Health First Aid England CIC, Mindful Employer, and other industry leading organisations. Jane has multi-sector experience, working in the private sector in logistics, public sector in the NHS, and within Third Sector infrastructure.
